The Good - When you think of GiD (Glow In The Dark) figures you always see the clean opaque greenish color, but Oppenheimer is part of the second batch of figures with weathered GiD parts. The weathering on the face and hands adds a great depth to the detail that is usually lost on other Gid Figures. The powders rest nicely in his layered Zomb skin and make it them pop in a crazy comic like fashion. The wear and tear on the boiler suit is a nice touch, it lets the GId detail come through on a almost completely covered figure. Another nice touch on Oppenheimer is the leather boots, complete with laces! It’s a nice turn away from the plastic boots which offer little to no flexibility. The leather boots are soft and flexible letting you take a bit more advantage of the foot inside of it to hit better poses.
The Bad - As a Gid figure a full boiler suit was strange move. Yes it is standard Zomb garb, but covers up almost all of the Gid body, save for the fingertips and face. Yes you can half remove the boiler suit to open up some more Gid parts, but the suit is so nicely crafted that you lose out by doing so.
The Ugly - The weathering on the Gid Parts is awesome, but I feel that it reduces the ability to absorb light. Increasing the amount of time it takes for the glow to actually happen. For instance I had lights on it for the better part of 35 minutes and got barely a glow.
